Finding what clears the water

What clears the muddy waters for you? What do you do to let the silt settle? There are many things that at least stop the agitation of the water: music, sunlight on my face, a poem, a full moon rising, a lick from a dog.

Somewhere between mile 4 and 6 on a trail run the water begins to look less opaque. This blog will be about clearing the waters through running, or what ever techniques you care to contribute.
